The
Coral Springs Parks and Recreation Department has something
for everyone, from pre-school children to teenagers, from
adults to senior citizens. You’ll find a wide variety
of facilities, programs and special events for every recreation
and leisure need.
From sports leagues to exercise paths, from playgrounds
to nature trails, whatever your favorite sport or recreational
activity, you can find it here. Athletic opportunities
range from aquatics, soccer, baseball, softball, football,
basketball, tennis, golf, volleyball, and lacrosse to
horseshoe and bocci ball.
For those who prefer quieter, less strenuous recreation,
many of the City’s parks also provide passive areas
and natural settings. Upland Natural Areas, Wet Hammocks
and Wetland Mitigation sites were left in place or developed
to preserve environmentally sensitive land areas for current
and future generations. The new 30,000 square foot multipurpose
Mullins Park Gymnasium features several basketball courts,
including a championship caliber court with seating for
1,500. |
