The City's Community Development Division is comprised of two divisions:
- Planning & Zoning Division - The Planning & Zoning Division of the Community Development Department provides plan review to ensure compliance with land development regulations. Additionally, the Architectural Review Committee, established in 1996, reviews the design, color and materials of new development projects in accordance with the Architectural Guidelines. The Planning & Zoning Division programs and services include: Development Review Committee, Land Development Code, Planning & Zoning Board Meeting, Architectural Review Committee, Sign issues, and more.
- Neighborhood Division - The goal of the neighborhood services section of the Community Development Division is community involvement, beautification, safety, and community reinvestment.
