To assist you with your relocation, expansion or tenant improvement, the EDF works in conjunction with the City of Coral Springs to assist both large and small businesses.
The Coral Springs Preferred Client Program provides specialized service to Economic Development Foundation (EDF) clients whose project has a significant economic impact to the City and creates new, high-wage employment opportunities in specific targeted industries. Preferred Clients are determined by how the total project or Client brings an economic impact to the City as well as other criteria.
In addition to the preferred client status a courtesy assistance program is also available to any small business seeking to better understand City Development Review Committee (DRC) and City Building Division processes.
Client Comments -
“Customer service is right on. Excellent staff. Very pro-active compared to other cities and counties. Very happy the City offers overtime inspections. It saved the project.”
Gustavo Carbonell, Renaissance Charter School
“The project coordinator program is a great program. Wish other cities offered the program. Want other cities to come and learn how we do it. Would love to do more projects in the city as all went smoothly.”
Hank, Baptist Health
“Liked the pre-construction meeting. Other cities are not as thorough as Coral Springs.
I feel my project would not have completed on time without the help from my project coordinator.”
Bob Barnes, Autozone
“Project Coordinator was the most helpful with all aspects of the project. There was not a single aspect that my coordinator did not help get resolved. I have worked in every city from the keys to Palm Beach. This was by far the smoothest city to work with. Thanks.”
Rich Magner, Walgreens
“My project coordinator helped me keep track of inspections, walked me through the process, kept me up to date with additional permits and fees and the c.o. process. The project coordinator program is very good.”
Gary, Chase Bank
“My project coordinator was great. We would not have been able to succeed without her.”
Jessie Reyes, Coral Springs Medical Emergency Room Expansion
